The management of Kaduna Electric has tendered an apology for the prolonged power outages experienced by customers in its franchise states.
It stated this in a press statement issued by the Head of Corporate Communication of the Company, Abdulazeez Abdullahi and made available to Journalists over the weekend in Minna, Niger State capital.
The statement added that the outages is as a result of the drop in power generation nationwide, saying “it has affected our daily load allocation”, saying that “In the past 10 days, our daily load allocation has dropped significantly and is severely inadequate to serve our customers adequately across our four franchise states.
“A drop in allocation has therefore forced us to adopt load shedding in the distribution of the load we receive.
“We regret the inconvenience and promise improvement in supply as soon as generation picks up.”
