Iseyin to get tertiary institution before I leave office ― Ajimobi

The governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has expressed the readiness of his administration to establish a tertiary institution in Iseyin.

Governor Ajimobi gave this pledge while presenting the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  in the March 2, 2019 election in the state, Chief Adebayo Adelabu and other candidates to the people of the ancient town.

The governor directed committee set up by the people of the town to come to the Government House on Wednesday so that they can begin the paperwork.

Chief Adelabu promised the people of Oke Ogun area increased government presence from his administration if he is voted to office.

“The best of time awaits our people in Oke Ogun from our administration in terms of opening up of the rural roads, a large investment in agriculture, improved healthcare delivery system and adequate financing of education,” Adelabu said.

Ajimobi solicited for the support of the people of Iseyin, and subsequently promised to help them sign the papers for approval of their tertiary institution and begin the foundation laying before he ends his tenure.

At Saki, Senator Ajimobi promised to complete the construction of the road network in the town before the expiration of his tenure.

He revealed that work on the Model School at Baptist High School, Saki was 42 per cent completed, promising that the school will also be completed before the end of his tenure.

He enjoined the alumni of the various institutions in the state to join hands with government to help finance their alma mater.
