Is this pneumonia?

I was diagnosed with pneumonia after an Xray done at a General Hospital in Lagos. However, after being treated with antibiotics (Augmentin) and other related drugs, the cough still persists.

Kindly advise on what I can do to stop the cough.

Even though your X Ray may indicate Pneumonia, there could be some other underlying ailments. For this reason, you may need to carry out some extra tests such as Sputum and Blood examinations. It is also important for you to make sure that the antibiotics you used are genuine and of the right dosage.
