Amid the infidelity scandal rocking his marriage and the public squabble between his wife Annie, and some his siblings, 2face Idibia has spoken out in strong terms to warn his wife, family and fans who have been feasting on the matter, saying “this madness has gone on for too long and it has to stop.”
It is recalled that Annie called out her husband and accused him of having an affair with one of his babymamas, who simply goes by the name Pero, during one of the singer’s visit to the US.
Annie, who said she was running out of patience, maintained that she has taken so much from 2face over the years, adding that being patient does not make her an innocent fool.
The matter became a messy one as it dominated discourse on social media platforms with fans divided and friends of 2face taking different sides.
Worried by how his brand and family name were being needlessly dragged on social media, 2face, who has been in the eye of the storm, in a statement called on everyone involved in the situation to desist from further speaking on the matter.
He also warned his family and fans to desist from dragging his name through the mud just as he urged them to let the family deal with the situation internally
“I would not sit back and watch everybody have a free battle here in the name of love or solidarity. None of us is perfect. I will like to urge our families and supporters to stop the madness, and the public to please respect our privacy and our kids. Let us deal with our issues internally,” he pleaded.
