The Elevate1M Incubation Programme Cohort 2, launched by ImagineMiah Africa, has concluded its activities in Oyo State, offering women entrepreneurs the opportunity to enhance their business skills and expand their ventures.
Founder and Business Developer at ImagineMiah Africa, Jeremiah Oluwarinu emphasised the importance of continuous support for entrepreneurs, especially women-led businesses.
He highlighted the role of such initiatives in fostering community development and driving economic growth in Oyo State and across Africa.
Oluwarinu said, “Over the course of two months, the programme emphasised entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and practical experiences to help participants tackle industry challenges and seize new opportunities.
“The programme included 13 specialised sessions led by industry experts and business leaders. These sessions covered topics such as strategy, growth, and sustainability, equipping participants with actionable insights and practical knowledge to improve their business operations. Certificates were awarded to recognise their active participation.
“Participants visited Datina Designs, a renowned Pan-African fashion brand, where the founder shared her journey in brand development and market expansion. The tour provided participants with firsthand insights into the realities of business management.”
A growth session held at Hortechnet Studio allowed participants to collaborate with mentors on refining their business models. This session laid the foundation for the Demo Day, where entrepreneurs presented their business solutions to a panel of judges.
During Demo Day, held at the IEN Incubation Hub, four finalists showcased their innovative business ideas.
The event concluded with valuable feedback from the judges and certifications awarded to the finalists for their outstanding progress.
