The Managing Director /CEO of Harmony Gardens and Estate Development LTD, Hon Dr Saheed Mosadoluwa, popularly known as Ibile has been ordained as the Al-Mujadeed of the Universe by the African Muslim Council.
Hon Saheed Mosadoluwa a.k.a Ibile recently inaugurated a multi million naira ultra-modern central mosque in Ibeju-Lekki,which caught the attention
African Islamic council to honour him with the prestigious honour .
The African Islamic Council is a pan African Islamic organization based in Rabbat, Morocco.
Al-Mujaddid refers to someone who appears at the turn of every century of the Islamic calendar to revitalize Islam.
He also cleanse Islam of extraneous elements and restore it to its purity. In contemporary times, a Mujaddid is looked upon as the greatest Muslim of a century
The concept of Mujaddid is based on a hadith (a saying of Islamic prophet Muhammad), recorded by Abu Dawood, narrated by Abu Hurairah who mentioned that Muhammad said:
Allah will raise Mujaddid for each region at the end of every 100 years, the one who will renovate its religion for it.
Also The Al-Irshad Islamic Foundation, under the guidance of its founder Sheik Rasheed Adeleke, also honoured Hon Mosadoluwa and his wife Alhaja Aishat Mosadoluwa as the Iya Adinni of the foundation .
The Cheif Imam of Mosadoluwa mosque in Mowe far in Ogun State thanked almighty Allah for His doing in Al Mujadded Saheed Mosadoluwa’s life and called the attention of the audience to the fact that Saheed is not new to his contributions to Islam.
