The EKEDC’s spokesman, Mr Godwin Idemudia, in a statement said that the outage was not from the 66MVA transformer that recently got burnt.
He said that the load on the burnt transformer had been transferred to another transformer and power supply had been restored since Friday, May 4 to the affected areas.
He said that the company’s engineers and their counterparts from Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) were putting efforts together to clear the fault and restore supply.
