Edo Speaker slams APC candidate, labels him ‘loading brain’

In a scathing attack, the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, has criticized the APC candidate for the September 21 election in the state, Hon. Monday Okpebholo, by describing him as having a “loading brain,” which implies a lack of intellectual capacity to govern the state.

Agbebaku made these remarks during the official flag-off of the PDP’s state campaign in Ubiaja, Edo Central District, where he rallied support for his party’s candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo.

The Speaker’s comment elicited cheers and laughter from the crowd as he asserted, “We cannot afford to have a ‘loading brain’ as our governor.”

In contrast, Agbebaku praised his party’s candidate, stating, “Asue’s brain is not loading but packed with ideas.”

He expressed confidence in their victory and pledged to continue engaging voters as the gubernatorial election approaches.

Agbebaku’s remarks underscore the perceived intellectual gap between the two candidates, urging voters to make an informed decision as the campaign season heats up.
