Easter: NSCDC deploys 3,000 personnel in Kaduna

THE Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)  Kaduna State Command is to deploy over 3000 personnel to ensure safety and security during this year’s Easter celebration.

State Commandant, Alhaji Modu Bunu who made the call at the command’s Headquarters on Thursday extol the good virtues of Jesus Christ, noting that both Christian and Muslim faith with other believers should emulate Christ.

Bunu enjoined the good people of Kaduna State to consolidate on government’s effort in ensuring peace, assuring that the Corps in collaboration with other agencies will provide water-tight security before, during and after the festivity.

He warned people who are desperate to cause trouble to stay away from the State, stressing that anyone caught in any act capable of destroying peace efforts by government would face the wrath of the law.

Further, the State NSCDC boss has tasked individuals or groups to report suspected acts, objects and movement to NSCDC or security agencies for swift attention.

The Commandant also warned parents and guardians to intensify monitoring of their wards and children to prevent them from being victims of criminals either as abductors or ritualists.

Bunu reiterated that youth who are most Vulnerable should shun crime by staying away from suspected black spots to avoid any sanction.

He felicitated with a State Government, Traditional, Religious leaders and all the good people of Kaduna State on the occasion of the Easter celebrations.
