Creative Minds, a creche and nursery school operating the British EYFS and Nigerian curriculum designed for children aged two-six years which upon completion, are prepared for primary education in most national and international settings, have graduated their latest set.
According to the lead consultant of the school, Mrs Opemipo Oyekanmi, the school is a unique one which help young children develop their minds and mental capacities from infancy. Speaking with Friday Treat, she said, “We are equipped with learning aides that support learning environments that submerse learners with imagery, colour and play. The school is committed to the overall development of children and also conversant with the undisputable fact that children learn a lot through play.

Bearing these in mind, the school has embraced variety of fun and educational activities namely
swimming, ballet, music, French etc and plans are currently on board to expand these activities next session. Apart from having these activities as after-school clubs, they have grown to become school-wide events.
“Recently, the school held her first swimming gala. This is the first competition our pupils ever experienced and it was joyful seeing them display the traits of world class athletes like determination, focus and enthusiasm. The school also had a Cultural Day that saw pupils dressed splendidly in the tribe of their interest. They also brought the delicacies associated with the tribe they represented.
“The first graduation ceremony of our first set of pupils also took place this year. This event was graced by our pupils and their parents with variety of presentations like students showing their skills on the piano presentation, as well as students making news broadcast of events and other reminders in English and Yoruba for parents”.
