A Magistrate Court sitting in Osogbo, on Wednesday, ordered that a 25-year-old man, identified as Agbebunmi Biodun be remanded in a correctional facility for alleged murder.
The Police prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun informed the court that the accused person committed the offence on the 25th of May, 2018 at about 7:00 pm at Idasa area, Ilesa, Osun State.
He contended court that the accused person did unlawfully shoot one Adesoye Adekunle to death with a gun.
Elisha further alleged that the accused person did arm himself with guns and other dangerous weapons and robbed one Fadipe Abayomi of two bottles of Hennessy drink valued N 24,000:00k and a cash sum of N 18,000:00.

He also added that the accused person and others on 18th of May, 2020 at about 1:00 pm in Ede that did conspire among themselves being a member of the unlawful society and engaged in a secret cult known as Eiye Confraternity cult group.
The offences committed were contrary to and punishable under Section 6(b), punishable under section 1(1)(2)(a)(b) of the Robbery and Firearms ( Special Provisions) Act Cap RI vol. 14 Laws of Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and Section 324, 319(1) and 64(a) of the Criminal Code Cap. 34 Vol. ll Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002.
The plea of the accused person who is represented by his defence counsel, Barrister Kehinde Adepoju was not taken by the court
Presiding Magistrate, Olubunmi Ajanaku ordered the remand of the accused in Ilesa Correctional Centre
She subsequently adjourned the matter till 21st of July, 2020, and transferred the case to Ilesha Magistrate court for mention.
