This was the submission of the presiding pastor of The Master’s Place International Church, Ekpan-Warri, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Pastor Korede Komaiya, in a message entitled: A Life of Unusual Advantage.
He opined that spiritual fatherhood was a deep mystery with attached eternal blessings, without which Christians could not enjoy transference of grace for exploits in life.
According to the cleric, most Christians remain average or amount to nothing in life, because of lack of inheritance from a spiritual father, which he said, was a heart-to-heart relationship.
“Spiritual fatherhood is a deep mystery of life. Your fatherlessness is the reason for your featherlessness. It’s the transference of spiritual grace. You cannot collect inheritance from your pastor, but from a father,” Pastor Korede, whose church has branches in Lagos, Ogbomoso, Ughelli and Sapele, enthused.
Speaking on the advantages of spiritual fatherhood, Korede, who is himself a son to Bishop David Oyedepo, said the blessing from spiritual fathers was the highest blessing any man could obtain in heaven and earth.
He underscored the significance of spiritual fathers, saying it was the reason Bishop Oyedepo recently escaped an aircraft disaster, because he has Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who had a premonition of the bad omen, and had prayed for him, as his father.
He enjoined genuine Christians, who desired longevity, to seek genuine spiritual fathers, honour them regularly and desist from speaking negative things about them, because such “disposition brings curses upon children of God.”
