CDS expresses condolences over death of Kenya's defence chief

Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, expressed heartfelt condolences to the government and citizens of Kenya following the tragic passing of Kenya’s Chief of the Defence Forces, General Francis Ogolla.

In a solemn acknowledgement, General Musa, representing the Armed Forces of Nigeria, mourned the loss of General Ogolla and several esteemed military leaders in a helicopter crash in Maramwet County.

Recognising General Ogolla’s distinguished career, marked by professionalism and dedication to safeguarding his nation and the broader East African region, General Musa emphasised the profound impact of his service.

The Chief of Defence Staff urged the nation to find solace in General Ogolla’s exemplary legacy, highlighting his notable contributions and enduring memory.

He offered prayers for the eternal repose of General Ogolla and his fallen comrades, while also extending support and strength to their grieving families and the Kenyan Defence Forces during this period of profound loss.
