I am a 45-year-old man who has been a sports man since childhood. I recently noticed that my knees were a bit wobbly and saw a doctor who advised me to stop jogging. Unfortunately, when I stopped jogging, I started to put on weight. Kindly help me as I love to jog.

I agree with your doctor that you have to stop jogging because of your weak knees. However, I believe that you still go for walks as a form of exercise. In order to protect your knees, the walking should be done slowly and over a level terrain to avoid putting too much stress on the knees.
