Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has been added to the lineup of performers for the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy revealed the inclusion of Burna Boy, along with Luke Combs and Travis Scott, in an announcement on Monday.
The Grammy organisers shared the news on their official handle, stating, “Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS.”
Previously unveiled performers for the event include Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.
According to the Tribune Online, Burna Boy has received nominations in three categories at the 66th Grammys.
His nominations include Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World,’ Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone,’ and Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys.’
The 66th Grammy Awards are scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
