Anticipation of lovers of music in Abuja and its environs continues to build as the city is set to get thrilled by ‘Blessing Tangban Live in Abuja’ concert.
The concert, which is regarded by many to be rather timely given the epidemic gloom that has enveloped the global atmosphere, will be headlined by fast-rising Afro folk singer, Blessing Tangban.
Having produced collaborations with the like Johnny Drille and M.I, Blessing Tangban is regarded by music enthusiasts as the next alternative singer to take the Nigerian music scene by storm, as her lyrics are believed to be witty and emotionally stirring.
Speaking with R, the singer who recalled how she started entertaining people at coffee shops revealed that the concert is one that will be taken across the country.
“Music is something I just knew I was born to do. I started by playing at coffee shops but today, I’m happy for the growth and how far I have come.
“The concert will be a live display of music. Fans will get to experience in its raw, undiluted form. We were at Ikom, Cross River State on the 14th and Abuja is next on our music tour”, the speaker disclosed.
The concert in Abuja will be held on the 29th, later this month.
