Benue govt to tackle challenges facing primary education

CHAIRMAN, Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Reverend (Dr) Philip Tachin, has reiterated  Samuel Ortom administration’s determination  to tackle all challenges in the primary education sector.

Tachin explained areas of intervention which  include  provision  of teaching personnel and basic infrastructure.

The SUBEB boss said these to newsmen after inspection tour of some ongoing primary school projects in Guma and Gwer East local government areas.

He was accompanied on the tour by members of the state House of Assembly Standing Committee on Education led by its chairman, Honorable Ngunan Adingi.

The team inspected Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) Primary Schools in Gbajimba, Mbabegha and Uikpam all in Guma as well as those in Ikpayongo and the Roman Catholic Mission (RCM) Primary Schools in Howe and Uturugh in Gwer East Local Government area.
