WIFE of the Oyo State Governor, Mrs Florence Ajimobi has urged Nigerian electorate to be wary of impostors who peddle false content and fake news to curry sympathy votes.
She also urged Nigerians to look beyond emotional appeals but be guided in their decision making by the need for good representation and good governance.
Mrs Ajimobi who made this call when she received a delegation of Labaowo Market traders, Ogunpa, Ibadan, decried that mischief makers were bent on going any length to get relevance and cheap popularity.
Mrs Ajimobi, specifically, bemoaned a voice-note doing the rounds of her discrediting the eligibility and credibility of some ruling All Progressives’ Congress candidates in the forthcoming election, which she described as cloned.

In his remarks, President of Labaowo Market, Ogunpa, Ibadan, Mr Sikiru Olayiwola described as rumour the information making the rounds that the market leaders had endorsed the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) and its candidates in the forthcoming election.
He avowed that the market supported the APC, its programmes and candidates.
The chairman of Ibadan west LCDA, Mr Yomi Adefusi, said that the market and the entire local government supported the APC and its candidates.
