In a conversation with fellow housemate Tolanibaj, Neo Akpofure, a participant in BBNaija All Stars 2023, made a claim regarding his colleague Ike Onyema’s hygiene.
Neo expressed his concern about Ike’s body odour and emphasized the importance of taking personal hygiene seriously.
Neo, in a light-hearted manner, stated that he considers himself a “guy man” raised with good manners by his mother. He then went on to mention that some of Ike’s underwear appears to be brown and dirty, and his armpits are consistently sweaty, leading him to believe that Ike has body odour.
He candidly stated that Ike’s body odour is noticeable, using the Nigerian pidgin term “Ike dey doza” to describe the situation.
Neo expressed the belief that Ike needs to take care of himself and maintain good hygiene, as it is essential for one’s self-esteem and confidence.
Neo stressed that personal hygiene is not just for the benefit of others but also for oneself. He encouraged Ike to smell good for his own sake, so he can feel proud when looking at himself in the mirror.
The claim about Ike’s body odour has been a topic of discussion among the housemates, and even Mercy Eke, Ike’s ex-lover, confirmed the truth of the matter.
She recently revealed that she had chased Ike out of her house in the past because of his offensive toilet etiquette, adding to the ongoing discussion about his hygiene.
