Although Governor Rauf Aregbesola has focused on road construction, the OYES scheme and education programmes, among others, he has been insensitive to the plight of the retirees who are senior citizens in Osun State.
We the pensioners have been receiving half of our monthly pensions for a year now and, to worsen the situation, he has not paid the backlog of gratuities since 2008-2017 .
Since 2013, many of us have died as a result poverty; others are bedridden. We pray Mr. Rauf Aregbesola to pay our gratuity and arrears of pension.
