The concept of AOD Fashions all began as a student at Kogi State University. The aim, according to her, is to create a fashion brand that empowers women’s confidence.

“I discovered myself when I was an undergraduate at Kogi State University and the idea about fashion. It revealed so much about myself when it all started in 2013 during one of the strikes when I was an undergraduate at Kogi State University.”

“We understand that fashion boosts people’s confidence in many ways by adding several characteristics to their personality. This is the reason I established AOD Fashions to make women feel self-confident. Fashion requires many things, and one of them is to discover the dress which suits you. You should feel comfortable in what you are wearing without the fear of being judged; this is what we do,” Adelusi stated.

AOD fashions was built on professionalism, “My fashion brand looks out for making you comfortable in whatever outfit you put on. It looks out on building your self-esteem. You are what you wear; remember that. So we make selections of fashion to make people feel confident and beautiful.

“We have Classic, Owambe, Babydoll, Kimono, La Belle, Delight, Crystal, Elegant, Formal (evening), Sheath, Blouson, Wrap around, Peasant dresses and more – make with Ankara, silk, Aso Oke, duchess and wedding materials,”

According to the Business Analyst, the fashion sector remains the second largest contributor to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Products (GDP) after food, beverages and tobacco and presently accounts for 37 percent of e-commerce revenues to Nigeria’s economy, which her dream is to exploit it and showcase AOD Fashions to the world.

“For me, the next thing is to make the AOD Fashions brand well known in the United Kingdom and across all major countries of the world. Creativity and style are our priority, so I must ensure to work more on it to always deliver the best to my clients,” she stated.
