
THE Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, literarily bid Muslims faithful farewell at this year’s Eid El Kabir prayer, on Tuesday, in Abeokuta.
Amosun whose two-term of eight years rule expires on May 29, 2019, while addressing Muslim faithful at the Lantoro Praying Ground, in the state capital, stated that this year’s prayer would be his very last as the governor of the state.
He, however, expressed confidence that he would accompany his successor for Sallah at the same prayer ground next year as ex-helmsman of the state.

Amosun thanked the people of the State for the peaceful reign his administration had so far enjoyed and called for religious harmony among them.
He urged Muslim to imbibe the lessons of the Eid-El-Kabir in total submission to the will of Allah and practice them always.
Amosun said, “There is unity in Ogun state, everybody sees each other as one. There is nothing like this is one Christian and that one is Muslim. We are all one here. Even when I was coming, some Christians were following me.”
The governor promised to deliver more dividends of democracy in the overall it of the state till his very last day in office.
