Beside her budding career in the movie industry, Nollywood actress, Nkiru Umeh, fondly known as Angel Nikki by colleagues, has ventured into business. The actress recently floated an all-inclusive beauty company for families in Amuwo Odofin in Lagos.
The new outfit dubbed, Angel Nikki Family Beauty Place surmises beauty and health services for all members of the family including children and men.
The actress launched the company late last year, but has been posting pictures of her brain-child, which obviously weighs a lot in millions, on her social media accounts.
Known for her role in Royal Maids, Nkiru, told Saturday Tribune in a chat that her love for matrimony inspired her line of business.
“The inspiration is family. I love family. I started my own family early. I love anything that has to do with family. It is a place where a family can work in, mother, father and children, young and old people, to have a treat. We have over 20 services to offer. We have family packages, where family can register for a discount,” she said.
The actress, who married at the age of seventeen and has four children, last year October celebrated her fifteenth wedding anniversary with her business tycoon husband.
And speaking about her expectation for the year, the actress said: “I want to play more challenging roles. I don’t want to get comfortable with the diva roles. I want something different from what I played last year. I did a couple of movies last year that I was really proud of. I achieved opening this place.”
