A socio-cultural group, Ladi Integrity Elites in Ikoto, Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State, has commended Honourable Oladipupo Adebutu for his contributions to community development and youth empowerment in the area.

The group, in a statement by its leader and secretary, Ayodele Adepitan and Apostle Olusesan Jimoh, gave the commendation during its inaugural meeting held at the Adepitan Political Academy, Ikoto, where members described Adebutu as someone who has demonstrated purposeful leadership and commitment to improving lives of the people.

Adepitan said Adebutu’s relentless efforts to secure employment opportunities for young people had particularly impressed him.

He noted that Adebutu had continued to make such contributions despite not in government.

Adepitan said there was hardly anything more valuable an individual could offer another person than a sustainable means of livelihood.

He stressed that Adebutu’s determination to empower youths had distinguished him as a leader committed to uplifting his people.

Also, the secretary said the group’s name was inspired by Adebutu’s performance in community development and his passion for changing people’s living conditions from grass to grace.

The women leader, Mrs. S.A. Okubanwo, said Adebutu had demonstrated commitment to assisting the underprivileged and needy through various interventions.

The youth leader, Mr. Bakare Jimoh, stated that Adebutu’s contributions had surpassed those in government, citing his donation of transformers to different communities, scholarship programmes, assistance to widows and efforts to provide employment opportunities for young people.

Representatives and members of the group attended the inaugural meeting from six local government areas, including Mr. Kuye Sikiru (Ijebu-Ode); Mr. Bakare Jimoh (Ogun Waterside); Mrs. Kazeem Taiwo (Ijebu North); Apostle Jimoh (Ijebu East) and Mrs. Okubanwo (Ijebu North-East), among others. The group reaffirmed its commitment to community development, youth empowerment and initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
