No fewer than five commissioners of police stormed Ebonyi State for the presidential and National Assembly elections.
Commissioner for Border Peace and Internal Security, Dr Kenneth Ugbala gave the information to journalists in his Okoffia polling unit, Ezza South Local Government Area of the state after casting his votes.
There were reports that two persons, Igwe Ukwa and Egbe People in Ndiagu/Amagu community in Ikwo local government area of the state were killed with Ejike Igwe, Alo Nwamgbo and two others hospitalised on Friday night when supporters of some candidates clashed.
Ugbala said the five CPs and X-squad from the Inspector General of Police(IGP) unit were deployed to Ebonyi state to add to security arrangement in the state for smooth conduct of the elections.
He described the elections as very peaceful with the large turnout of voters.

Also speaking, the state Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Fidelis Nweze said the Independent National Electoral Commission was prepared for the elections as according to him, materials for the polls were complete and the exercise commenced on time.
