THE Pastor in charge of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Throne of Grace Parish, Lafia, Nasarawa State, Pastor Niyi Ogooluwa has said that Nigeria requires God’s intervention to avoid collapse as a result of the missing $25 billion in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
The pastor who made the statement on Sunday, during a special service themed “Divine Intervention”, decried the alarming rate of maladministration bedevilling the country.
He explained that, Nigeria can only get itself out of its current situation if it intercedes for God’s mercy.
He said that, he has decided to start up a programme tagged “hour of mercy” that would hold every Saturday by 6am to enable the country come out of its present situation.
“Nigeria needs divine visitation because it is bad for somebody to steal the nation’s common wealth that would have been used to change the current situation of her citizens. It is only prayer that can save us from this situation”, he said.
