Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Paul Okubor, made the disclosure Thursday when he visited the chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi in his office.
The MD, who led three other principal officers of the hospital on the visit to the LG boss, solicited the assistance of the local government in the evacuation of the corpses and subsequent internment.
He also appealed to the council authority to assist in restoring steady power supply to the hospital through a connection to 33 KVA line.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Mr Michael Tidi, while responding, informed the visitors that he had already raised some of the challenges facing the hospital to the state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa during his recent visit to Warri South.
Tidi noted that his administration was already exploring the possibility of upgrading the Warri Cemetery to standard.
He promised to continually engage the Delta State commissioners of Health and that of Power and Energy in order to tackle the challenges of electricity and others confronting the hospital.
