THE Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has predicted the total clean sweep of polls by All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto, while applauding the tremendous support and cooperation being accorded to the candidates of the party (APC), at all levels in the country.
Senator Wamakko, spoke on Monday at his Gawon Nama, Sokoto residence when he addressed a mammoth crowd of the chieftains and faithful members of the party,shortly after his return from an official trip in Abuja.
He said: “Such tempo of support to all our candidates, including President Muhammadu Buhari is invaluable.
“Our strength comes from the Almighty Allah as it is only Him that we solely depend on and not on any mere mortal.
“We are really very grateful to the elders of the party, members of the business community, the clergy, women and youths, among others.”
Speaking on 2019 polls, Wamakko said that, President Muhammadu Buhari and all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will clean sweep the forthcoming polls.
Senator Wamakko also said the party and its candidates, at all levels, will not make any empty promises to Nigerians.
According to Senator Wamakko, “President Muhammadu Buhari has fulfilled all his 2015 campaign promises to Nigerians.
“The President has just launched his 2019 campaign document and he will never renege on his promises, as ever.”
The Senator, however, admonished the members of the party in the State to eschew violence, adding, “You should campaign on principles.
“Those who are lucky and successful never fight.
“We solely rely on the Almighty Allah for us to succeed and not on any mortal who cannot even help himself.”
Senator Wamakko further averred that Nigeria would continue to grow from strength to strength and the APC is the party to beat across Nigeria.
