Nigeria rapper and songwriter, Moses Muhammed Enitan, popularly known as Mosi6, has said his three-year-old daughter, Boluwatife Zainab is a major stakeholder in his entertainment company, TNC and that was the real reason he gave her the slot.
The Kogi State-born singer said, “I am a well-rounded entertainer and I run an entertainment outfit called, Team No Casting (TNC). We are into all entertainment. As for the music part, I have different talented artistes that are part of TNC. I have an EP coming up later in the year, Mosi6, featuring TNC.
“Artistes on TNC include Barnabas, 542, Fresh, Jimjim, Rudy, and my humble self. My daughter, Boluwatife Zainab, otherwise known as TNC Queen, who is the First Lady of the company, is a stakeholder with 70 percent shares. She is a dancer. I am trying to introduce her into the world of music, though she is three, very soon TNC will take over your television,” she said.
Mosi6 also revealed why he decided to start his own music company, saying, “I started my own label because I don’t want to be signed to another label. I want to be my own boss, I am Mosi6, I am born to lead, while others follow. There’s absolutely nothing wrong in setting up my own label, since I have all the necessary resources; as a matter of fact, it’s not just a record label, it’s a complete entertainment company.
“I have some songs and videos coming up soon, I wouldn’t want to give details now, but I want my fans to be on the lookout, this is a surprise for them. Q-Dot is my very good friend, very soon, we will work on something together, Oritse Femi too, he is a close ally, we should be working together. I’m all out for my fans, good music.” he assured his fans.
Speaking on the Nigerian music industry, he said it is doing pretty fine, while advising young acts to work hard and believe in their dreams, and that God will crown their efforts.
