Comedy, which was once not seen as a career option, is now one of the most popular in the Nigerian entertainment sector. As Nigeria’s economy continues to worsen, while inflicting pain on its citizens, comedy has given succour to many.

The entertainment market has exploded as a result of these ephemeral joys. The pervasiveness of the internet and social media has also opened up opportunities for new comedians and skit writers.

Fast-rising comedian, Chibuike Gabriel, popularly known as, Untouchable Comedy, is one of the very few talents that have turned around lives through comedy.

The budding comedian, social media influencer, and Master of Ceremonies was born in the 1990s and graduated from university in 2022.

The comedian gained immense popularity, on his social media handles including Facebook with 1.5 million friends and over 100,000 followers on Instagram. He revealed that he was excited about making comedy films and sharing joy by helping people.

The prankster tests people’s moral beliefs by encouraging them to participate in strange public acts and rewards those who do so with money. In this way, he contributes to preserving and advancing social ideals. His philanthropic actions distinguish him from the rest of the group.

Untouchable Comedy, who is fond of going to the streets to put smiles on Nigerians’ faces in a tricky way, has assisted many Nigerians across the country through his talents.

His altruistic deed distinguishes him from his colleagues in the field, according to him, “He emulates his role model Mr Beast, a game creator and prankster on YouTube. Mr Beast is a humanitarian who utilises his fortune to better people’s lives.”

Untouchable Comedy noted that his greatest goal is to make several positive contributions to the lives of the impoverished, marginalized, and underprivileged on the streets.
