Determined to contribute its quota towards helping to reshape Nigeria’s logistics industry presently projected to be over $60 billion annually, Red Star Express has further restated its commitment to the course.

The company is also giving executive powers to its managers to champion the change process.

Speaking at the company’s executive retreat, the Group Managing Director, Auwalu Babura stated that Red Star’s managers are being empowered in a way that’s different from what others are doing.

He pointed out that; “the management has instilled a transformative mindset among its managers, urging them to view their roles not merely as employees but as proactive business owners.

“By embracing this entrepreneurial approach, they are encouraged to think creatively, implement a more customer-centric sales strategy and adapt to the unique challenges and opportunities presented by their respective business environments.”

Red Star has also confirmed that a key component in reshaping the logistics industry is the strategic shift in its brand management approach.

In a new umbrella approach, the subsidiaries including Red Star Logistics, Freight and Red Star Support will all be deployed to amplify the main parent brand.

“This approach allows us to preserve the individual identities of our companies while solidifying their affiliation as esteemed members of the Red Star Express family.

“By embracing this dynamic branding strategy, we are able to preserve the individual identities of our companies and also foster stronger connections with our customers and create a lasting impression in the competitive market.

“Red Star Express PLC remains committed to its mission of providing cutting-edge logistics solutions, and the outcomes of the Manager Strategy Retreat align perfectly with the company’s vision for the future,” the CEO declared.

Red Star Express is a leading logistics and courier company in Nigeria, offering a wide range of services, including domestic and international express delivery, freight forwarding, and supply chain solutions. With a commitment to innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
