Former governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has congratulated Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who, today, emerged as the new Deputy Senate President.
Uduaghan, who lost the last Delta South Senatorial candidate election to Senator James Manager, expressed his excitement at the new development on his Facebook timeline on Tuesday shortly after Omo-Agege clinched the post.
Omo-Agege had beaten three-term senator, Ekweremadu at the poll in the red chambers earlier in the day.
Speaking on the victory of Omo-Agege, Uduaghan said: “Congratulations to Nigeriaās brand new Senate President Senator Ahmed Lawan and Deputy, my own brother from Delta APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
