Uche Nwosu congratulates Tinubu on Supreme Court victory

Published by

Former Chief of Staff to the Imo State government, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, has extended his congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the affirmation of his election.

In his congratulatory message, Nwosu stated that the apex court had unequivocally validated President Tinubu’s mandate, dismissing all the issues raised against his victory in the presidential election with a unanimous verdict.

He also urged the Presidential Candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively, to heed President Tinubu’s call for cooperation in advancing the nation.

Nwosu expressed appreciation for the role played by the two leading runner-up candidates in enriching democracy and jurisprudence. However, he emphasised that all avenues for redress have been exhausted.

As patriots and statesmen, they are now urged to transcend the discord of the elections and support President Tinubu in addressing the country’s current challenges.

“I equally commend the two leading runner-up candidates for enriching our democracy and jurisprudence. They are indeed democrats, but they should accept the reality that all avenues for redress have been exhausted.
“As patriots and statesmen, they must now rise above the discord of the elections to support Mr President in rescuing our country from its present challenges.”
