Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared what she described as a “small secret” she believes many people overlook, saying it could significantly change how 2026 turns out for them financially.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, the actress advised people to rethink how they relate with wealthy friends, family members and influential figures in their lives.
According to Tonto, many people see rich contacts only as future helpers, rather than individuals they can also give to, even in the smallest ways.
She explained that influential and wealthy people receive countless messages every day from people asking for help, but hardly receive messages from those who simply want to give or show appreciation.
“These people have thousands of DMs of people begging them, but not of people wanting to give them. Be different,” she said.
Tonto stressed that giving is not about the size or value of the gift, but the intention and thought behind it, encouraging fans to give within their capacity.
She also shared a lesson she said her life coach once taught her, noting that leadership, favour and blessings often flow through people who understand and practise the power of giving.
The actress added that many people repeatedly ask favours from friends they depend on, yet have never taken the time to appreciate them with even a small gift, urging her followers to adopt a more intentional approach as they prepare for 2026.
