TLove, Taye Turaya take over leadership of AJUM Akoko chapter

It is a new dawn in the Association of Juju Musicians (AJUM), Akoko axis in Ondo State, as rising juju musician, Oloruntoba Tolu, popularly known as TLove, has emerged as the chairman of the association.

TLove became the chairman unopposed at the election held during the week, while the new leadership of the association also installed popular musician, Taye Turaya, as the co-ordinator of the association’s Akoko chapter, among other new executives.

Speaking with R on the development, TLove noted that he is not living any stone unturned in taking the association at the local level to greater heights. He assured his readiness to provide purposeful leadership as well as galvanise all members with new innovations.

He added that part of his major priorities is to develop the musical economy of Akokoland through the influence of AJUM family. He also promised to facilitate mega concerts alongside his colleague, Taye Thuraya.

“I will be organising mega-concerts quarterly. This will draw more notable artistes in the industry to Ondo State for the development of individuals and AJUM members at the local, state and national levels.

“We are focused on promoting up-and-coming artistes, because this is a time hard work will speak faster. We are also committed to relating with all big wigs in the AJUM family as soon as we are inaugurated by the grace of God. We thank God the election went well and we are delighted to represent the association at this point,” he added.
