Security has been beefed up at the Federal High Court complex located opposite the old Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).
Findings revealed that as early as 6:30 am, Hilux vehicles and trucks had been barricaded at the court complex, forcing motorists plying the route to seek alternative roads.
As a result, the busy road has been deserted, as workers and schoolchildren also do not have access to it.
As of 9:30 am, there were a few onlookers at the court premises waiting for the arrival of the former governor, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai.
