The indigenes of Imo State in France have congratulated the newly sworn-in governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, after his victory at the Supreme Court.
The president and founder of Imo State Nigeria in Diaspora, France, Uche Ejims, in a statement, felicitated the new governor of Imo State.
According to Ejims, the Imo citizens in the Diaspora were delighted to hear Uzodinma’s victory at the apex court as they believe the victory will project the state to the limelight.
The president, therefore, assured Uzodinma of the association’s readiness to work with the governor towards ensuring the unity of the “Imolites.”
The statement reads: “On behalf of Imo citizens in France, I the president and founder of Imo State Nigeria in Diaspora, France, wish to congratulate you, His Excellency, Hope Uzodinma for having won the longest race ever in the history of Nigeria.

“We were delighted to hear of your victory for all, which will project Imo to limelights. We are sure that under your great leadership, wisdom and guidance in Imo State, will strive to much greater heights and achievements.
“I trust that you will continue to work for the improvement of the international business relationship, which I hope, will drive more investors to Imo.
“Let me once again reiterate my sincere congratulations on your success. We are enormously proud of you and of the great honour you have brought to our state by your previous achievements. All the members of Imo in Diaspora France would thank you for your many outstanding contributions to the fields of education, health and socio-cultural aspects while as a senator.
“Our association will always support you for any action that will lead to united Imolites. We will support you in whatever is excellent, noble, admirable and praiseworthy.
“Long live Nigeria. Long live Imo State.”
