Youths in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remo axis of Ogun State, have warned those levelling allegation of corruption against Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to stop forthwith.
They described Osinbajo as an upright and a man with unblemished character who would not involve himself in things that could bring disrepute to his name and the entire Remoland.
The youths, under the aegis of Remo Youths in APC, in a statement signed by its coordinator, Adetowubo Adebayo, said spurious allegations against the person of the VP was a calculated attempt to bring him down from the exalted seat.

“It is quite appalling that desperate cabals are behind the mischievous act of calumny to strip Vice President Yemi Osinbajo off his garment of honour. We are happy that the guerilla campaign holds no water in the face of right-thinking Nigerians, who stood solidly behind him in his travails.
“We unequivocally state that Professor Osinbajo is an upright man with unblemished integrity, and wouldn’t have involved in corruption or things that can bring his hard-earned name into disrepute.
“As a Pastor and an astute lawyer, his wealth of experience has really gone beyond the borders of Nigeria, and it is a sign of victory to see such a person at the helms of affairs, ” the body added.
The youths urged Nigerians to disregard all allegations against the VP and warned those behind the lies to desist from actions that can trigger the polity and create unrest in the country.
The Remo APC youths also declared their unalloyed support to Governor Dapo Abiodun for keeping the wheel of governance moving in Ogun State.
The body appreciated Abiodun for implementing policies in the interest of the state and commitment of his administration towards the welfare of the workforce.
“We urge the good people of Ogun State to keep faith in Governor Dapo Abiodun, as he begins the process to recreate a good and solid foundation for Ogun, ” it said.
