Ponmo is cow skin, it is a delicious part of beef used in many soups or enjoyed as a snack. Though it has low nutritional value, some people still find it very delicious while some use it as substitute for weight loss because it contains fewer calories.
Ponmo is most popular among the Yoruba people; however it has gained a special spot in almost every Nigerian home and found in soups like ogbono, efo riro, stew, oha and many others.
