Egbeda is gradually turning into a dump site. Dustbins are been placed on the roads and streets in the neighbourhood. This is gradually becoming environmental pollution which is currently affecting the health of residents.
Residents can no longer endure the stench which poses a threat to their health. Dirty items are been placed on the streets in big hags on daily bases. People are falling sick as a result of the pollution made in our environment and this calls for urgent attention.
A vivid example is the popular Gowon Estate Market and Baale along Akowonjo road. The contractors hardly collect refuse again. The street cleaners we used to see are rarely seen now. Lagos is becoming dirty and the government hasn’t made any positive decision to control the issue.
