The Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Bukola Saraki, Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the former governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke, others on Monday storm Holy Trinity Cathedral Onitsha in continuation of campaign rally for their presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 16 elections.
Atiku, during his speech to drum support for his election, promised to construct all the south-east roads and to restructure Nigeria before the end of his two years in office as the president if elected and he will also ensure economic stability in the country and proffer a lasting solution to the security challenges bedevilling the nation.
The former vice president who arrived the venue at about 5:35pm, lamented that when President Muhammadu Buhari came to power about four years ago, he promised to give youths job, improve the economy of the nation and proffer solution to security challenges, but failed to fulfil the promises he made which I was part of the campaign entourage.
He also regretted that Nigeria is still in an economic mess with attendant hardship as well as security and social challenges.
The PDP presidential candidate maintained that transformation and restructuring of the country would form priority of his administration.
He urges the people to vote out Buhari come February 16 for better Nigeria.
Senator Saraki on the part, assured the people that Atiku will find lasting solutions to the problems because he has a special agenda for the country.

The National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, who seal briefly, alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC)- led Federal Government under the watch of President Buhari has failed the nation as it didn’t fulfil its promises, so he should be voted out.
He urged Anambrians to support him in his quest to rule the country and assured that his administration will proffer solution to insurgency and other social vices in the country.
Mr Peter Obi who also speak, called for more cohesion and unity in the PDP to be able to win seats at the national and state levels in all States of the federation.
The state Publicity secretary of Atiku/Obi campaign council in the state, Barrister Okoli Akirika, on his commendation, described the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, as one of the most consistent political voice in the quest for a new Nigeria.
Atiku later takes his Presidential Campaign to Obi of Onitsha palace, where he has a closed-door meeting with Igwe Alfred Achebe and his Cabinets.
