Resuming school soon, how we feel

Published by

Anjolaoluwa Salt Oremade, 8yrs old

Since it’s a new school, I don’t have any friends there. I know only one person because we live in the same place, but everyone’s going to be new to me. I really don’t think I’m going to make as many friends as I did in my former school. It’s just not going to be the normal experience. I want to make friends, but I don’t want to risk anything. I am happy to return to school, it is boring at home. I am either  playing or reading books. In school, there will be more activities and better learning process. I love school and I think that interaction with my peers is part of the education process.

My holiday started on a fun filled note because I am a lover of cartoons.

My favorite channel is Disney Junior.

My daddy subscribed on the day I vacated and I had full access to watch my favourite channel, because I was one of the academic prize winners, my parents got me a lot of goodies and I really loved it.

I attended summer class and I enjoyed every bit of it even though I could not go for a week because I fell ill.

No mixed feelings, holiday is definitely going to end and I’m excited I will be resuming school and even anticipating my next class, but I’m definitely going to miss the unlimited access I had to my favourite channel.

school is fun and interesting. I want to go back to school so i can start learning with friends again. I have a best friend; his name is Jamal. We play together and learn together.

My class teacher’s name is Miss Odinma and she teaches me how to count numbers and recite the alphabets. I love my teacher because she is kind to me and teaches me well. I want to go back to school because I will play with my friends during the break period.

Scchool is always fun and I want to go back to learn and have fun

Very soon, it will be school time again! I am feeling excited and a little sad because holiday will be over; no more playing around, playing ball almost every time without being restricted by my mum and dad. No more watching cartoon TV shows, PJ mask and other little dinasour show.

I will miss all these as well as nice the time I had with my grandma who pampers and also give my cousins and I cookies.

It will also be a great one for me to resume back to school because I know i will be seeing a new teacher and meet new set of students as friends because of the change of class. I will be happy to show my friends my new school uniform, pair of shoes and new school lunch box. I’m excited to resume back to school.
