Reps candidate predicts good outing for PDP in 2019 polls
THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ibadan South-west/North-west federal constituency seat in the green chamber of the National Assembly, Adedeji Olajide, has predicted a good outing for the party in this year’s general elections.
Olajide, in a statement on Tuesday, said the PDP was the only party with programmes that would positively touch the lives of the people.
He said the large turnout of the people of Oyo State at the flag off of the party’s campaign in Ogbomoso on Monday and the perseverance of the people showed that they were ready to change the present government in the state and the country.
According to him, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had in the last four years inflicted untold hardship on the people with their standard of living depreciating.
He noted that Nigerians were hoodwinked by the APC with many promises towards the 2015 elections, saying these promises remained unfulfilled almost five months to the end of the administration.
