Several lucky Unilag students on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 went home with amazing prizes like mobile phones and laptops amongst other exciting gifts at the just concluded, ‘Praiz Live In UNILAG’ concert.

Moyo Payne, a UNILAG student, who received an acoustic guitar from Praiz courtesy of MTN could not hold back his excitement when he was selected in the draw. In his words,

“I’m really excited to have received this guitar. Everyone in school knows how passionate I am about music. It serves as an inspiration for me not to give up. I’ve even received a lot of bookings, right here, to perform at different hall weeks in school just by receiving this gift”.

Sponsored by MTN, the ‘Praiz Live In UNILAG’ concert saw the MTN brand ambassador, Praiz alongside other top Nigerian artists like Skales, Ajebutter22, IllBliss, Shaydee, BOJ, Ehizojie Okoeguale, Olisa Adibua and many others give all students present a spectacular musical experience.

In addition to the guitar, laptops and mobile phones, the MTN ambassador also gave out scholarships to ten students and promised to start a social media campaign where students could nominate people they felt needed these scholarships.

Kelechi Okoli, one of the recipients of the scholarship, prayed immensely for the superstar saying, “God bless Praiz beyond measures. I’m so thankful for the scholarship. He motivates me a lot and I love him.”

Praiz speaking on why he decided to hold the concert said, “It’s a big deal to put a smile on the faces of my super fans and experiencing God’s Love through them. At the end of the day, it’s not about what you have or even what you have accomplished. It’s about who you have lifted up and who you have made better. It’s about what you have given back”
