KANO State Police Command, in its efforts to rid the state of acts of criminalities, has arrested 35 suspected armed robbers and 24 suspected drug dealers.
Making the assertion on Thursday, the State Command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed that all the suspects were arrested with dangerous weapons, stolen properties and large quantities of illicit drugs.
Kiyawa said the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
Kano State Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Shu’ibu Dikko, warned criminals, especially thugs and drug dealers to either repent or flee the state completely, adding that the state is allergic to crime and its elements.
