Ace film maker and producer, Pascal Atuma has taken a leap in the entertainment world with the launch of a record label named Tobic Record.

This was on the heel of a talent hunt; Otukpo got Talent, where four teenagers were discovered by the Chief Executive Officer of Tobic Record, Mr Atuma who, after consultation with their parents, two were allowed to come to Lagos with me and my aim is to develop them academically and career wise.

“Tabic Record has signed them and we have made all arrangement not only to internationalise the duo, but also to make sure that we further their education, at least first degree along their music career.

“Tobic Record is set out to develop the downtrodden and especially those talents who came from poor backgrounds. We are starting with these two and we are going to package them from this humble  beginning to the global stage.

Atuma disclosed that Tobic Record would be run as a social impact enterprise with the determination to produce new generation of musicians.

According to Atuma, the teenagers, AOD-16 and Amani Boss-13 to be young upcoming music arts that will walk to the top because they write, sing and rap, which is a great advantage for their age.

“We are already preparing them to release three songs each as singles and we are looking at December 2018 for their music to hit the airwave. By the next one year their music will be hits on air.

The first time I use these guys music in an entry for an international award, I won and that is a testimony of their talent and the future music has for them.

Speaking on how they got into music, the young talents said they were motivated by other friends who took time out in school to rehearse, write their lyrics and sing too.

The young music talent confirmed that the recently organised Oturkpo Got Talent, which came at the right time, was an avenue to unleash their potential which eventually earned them the present status with Tobic Record.
