THE candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the September 22 gubernatorial poll in Osun, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Friday declared that he has strong confidence in the nation’s judiciary to retrieve what he termed his scared mandate that “brazenly stolen”.
He commended the electorate and the generality of the Osun people for their massive support, resilience and perseverance in the face of alleged violence, intimidation during Thursday rerun election.
Addressing a press conference in Ede, Osun State, Adeleke, who was flanked by his running mate, Hon Albert Adeogun and the state chairman of the PDP, Hon Soji Adagunodo averred that “we will use all legal and civil means to retrieve the stolen mandate of the people.”
According to him, “I have strong confidence in the judiciary to retrieve my mandate and your mandate that was stolen. We were temporarily robbed of victory. My good people of Osun State., don’t be downcast. By the special grace of God, your mandate will be restored. We will jointly retrieve our stolen mandate.
The judiciary has decided several cases like this and I believe they would do the right thing on this. We still have men who will stand for justice in Nigeria.”

Adeleke continued, “from every corner of Osun State, your voice was loud and clear. From Owenna to Ora to Ede to Erin Ile to Asejre, you backed me for the governorship. From London to New York, from Cairo to South Africa, the brazen robbery of your mandate was watched live on social media and other channels.”
He further stated that “I sent my condolence to the families of our members who were killed during the supplementary poll. This is a dark moment. I sympathise with our members who were macheted and injured. We were under siege.”
“I appreciate the international community, domestic and international observers for your impartial coverage. Your reports validated our position that Osun election was violently rigged. I must personally convey my sincere gratitude to journalists, both local and international, for the risk-taking, courage and passion you demonstrated in support of democracy. Our party and members are grateful for passionate backing. We still need you as we launch the rigorous move to reclaim the stolen mandate of our people”, Adeleke remarked.
Go ahead
Hope u no go change mouth after

“Rigging? Where? Not in Osun. We know ourselves. Yesterday’s election was a street election. We all know ourselves. We are not mourning anywhere. The people who voted during the rerun spoke for the entire state. No to elevated mediocrity”.
-by Senator Iyiola Omisore.
Na today ?, Adeleke u hv gone for gud
The PDP leadership surrendered Osun.
When it came to crunch time, the PDP let Adeleke down. He must have felt like an orphan
Almost everyone knew Omisore would be vital. You can ask the US embassy. The PDP sent no one. Saraki went with Okupe who is just coming out of retirement. Saraki’s entourage had looked rich until the APC visited Omisore.
The APC showed desperation. And put its birthright on the line. The party chairman was there. 6 governors went with him. They must have seen the chickens offered at that shrine by the PDP. And they must have offered cows.
Even if Omisore were a pastor.
The PDP chairman was in Wike’s boyquarters in Port Harcourt. Wike himself was not interested. He is peering down his political microscope looking for the most painful ways to deal with the party if they mess with him.
Okowa didnt show up. Fayose was working out his exit route. Even that refugee , the governor of Kwara, didn’t show up.
They left it to Davido and his uncle.
The APC meticulously took back Lasun whose intimidating influence in Orolu LGA was proved last week. While the APC patched up its net, the PDP ran helter skelter, from pillar to post and then to court.
It was injury time.
Even Fani Kayode who is from Ife was nowhere to be seen. He must have been in Abuja. From there he was calling Omisore. And must have warned him not to join hands with the Fulani jihadists! He saw no need to lend a helping hand in knocking at doors for Adeleke. But he will take to twitter today and let out emotions.
Where was Ben Bruce? Where was his love for the party?
He was tweeting it from Abuja while Ganduje was sleeping in Ile Ife.
We can forgive Dino Melaye. He is not sure of his own ticket yet. But where were Gbenga Daniel and Atiku?
Atiku was needed in Orolu!
These social media noises cant help anyone.
The leaders of the PDP failed Adeleke. And they failed him big time.
But you know what ? They will blame it on Buhari.
When you lose tomorrow you will forget this statement and blame Buhari.
see hunger for your face,
Must they leave their states to come to osun to force the people to vote their choice? They are not registered voters in the state, but supported him the best they could and he won save not for INEC and security officials collaboration with the APC.
Oga Adeleke no deceived yourself.. Nigeria judiciary they will keep adjoining the case till 2023
Peter Dominic Ajibade did you vote for him? If not shut up your mouth.
Adeoye Omotayo Soa:. You nailed it. The PDP still believed in lies, they gathered people who were not supposed to vote in the re-run, give them 5K each did a video shouting they were denied the right to vote. The PDP had all the time to campaign but they were busy planting fake stories with the names of some Nigerians who came out to deny them.
When the re-run was taking place in fani kayode state, he was visiting kwankwaso in Abuja.
So much impunity in Buhari’s corrupt administration.
Buhari, sign the electoral act and stop deceiving the international community that the election Will be free and fair.
Already INEC chairman is a criminal, he must be arrested. He cannot conduct a free and fair elections.
1. He falsified documents of kogi electorate and forged their signatures just to get at Dino
2. He rigging Ekiti state elections with 30,000 Nigerian police officers.
3. He attempted to stop issuing PVCs when he realized that north had collected more PVCs than south.
4. He Covered up for underage voters in North.
5. He wants to use N6billion to feed police in 2019 elections when the same money can pay police salaries and pension for one year, to reduce police misconduct. This is the same police he used to rig elections in ekiti state.
6. INEC connived with touts to sell PVCs to individuals at N1,500 in lagos. Go to Ikorodu INEC office and you will not be disappointed. How is this INEC chairman credible?
7. After cancelling so many viable votes, and sending INEC official to tear ballot papers of Adeleke’s votes, Adeleke of PDP still won the election. Yet INEC, with all its impunity and corruption refused to declare Adeleke winner. Shame on these thieves.
8. Instead Buhari sends Nigeria military to terrorize osun state and hand over the state to APC. This is not democracy. Democracy was when Adeleke of PDP won the election in a leveled playing field and without the intimidation of the police and military.
9. ETC
Our votes are not safe with this corrupt criminal called INEC chairman. He must be arrested. This man is unfit to conduct a free and fair elections. He is working for corrupt Buhari and not for Nigeria.
LIES LIES LIES…….!!!!!
If Buhari was a commodity in the market, it would have been banned because it is a bad product.
Nigeria borrows N2.7trillion in one year to do what? Everything about Buhari is forgery and lies:
0. Presidency borrows $3.1bn usd for road and railway 7 months to presidential election.
1. Buhari himself forged waec certificate
2. His finance minister forged nysc certificate
3. His ministers forged 25billion dollars nnpc contact, then lied till today.
4. In Aso rock clinic embezzlement, documents were forged to cover up. Yet deficit was still short of billions.
5. Buhari himself as protroleum minister till now cut out 50billion naira petroleum account to himself and then forged a cover up. No one can question him on that till now.
6. Assisted by Buhari, Gov. Bello of kogi with inec, forged signatures of the electorate to recall Dino. Thank God kogi people stood their ground.
7. They lie about everything, lie about economy, lie about security, lie about electricity, lie about employment, and even lie about jellof rice.
8. Buhari used 30,000 police officers with Inec officials to rig election in Ekiti for APC.
9. INEC acts on Buhari’s instruction to cancel election result in Osun state just because Adeleke of PDP won gubernatorial election. Then Buhari sends fayemi of Ekiti to woo Omishore to support APC for a rerun after instructing INEC officials to tear ballot papers of those who voted for Adeleke of PDP.
10. They lie about giving ASUU N20bn and ASUU responded immediately to their lie by cautioning to stop the lying.
11. ETC
How many jobs has this government been able to create? 7.9milliion Nigerians who were already employed lost their jobs in just 21 months of Buhari’s administration. Undergraduates are not nigeria’s problems. Buhari is nigeria’s problems. He is supposed to be sent back to school to write waec because he doesn’t have a certificate. He has destroyed Nigeria with his bad policies. You cannot transfer the failures of this government on poor people. This is foolishness.
This is a typical example of how Buhari’s policies has been destroying the country for the past 3 years counting. We have a bunch of clueless individuals in Buhari’s administration. Yet everyday, they boast of their stupidity. What do you expect from a man who cannot produce his waec certificate?
Buhari and APC have completely destroyed Nigeria with very bad policies. It’s a shame that Kenyan airlines has added to the statistics. They lied to us:
LIE NUMBER 1: Corruption is responsible for Nigeria’s economy woes.
The simple question which we all should be asking ourselves is, ‘why is it that EFCC has recovered all these money, from looters, yet nigeria’s economy has not improved and still so bad,? We have all been deceived into believing that it is looted money that is responsible for Nigeria’s economic woes but it is not because one would think that if looted money was recovered, Nigeria’s economy should improve, but this is not the case. The economy is running aground instead. All we do is gabbage in gabage out, swallowing all the lies they tell us, without reasoning. APC has been peddling the lies to the gullible. Meanwhile, EFCC is APC’s mechinery to hunt down all political enemies of Buhari and APC.
LIE NUMBER 2
Oil price is the cause of Nigeria’s economic woes.
They all give low oil price as reason for failed economic policies, but also forgot to mention that Buhari was aware of dynamic oil price before he made the promise to Nigerians that he will make 1 naira = 1 dollar, deceiving Nigerians to get the votes. Secondly they forgot to mention that oil price during past administrations was not static, yet past governments were able to balance dynamic oil prices with good economic policies to buffer the economy, this was the reason Nigeria became the largest economy in Africa. Almost all oil producing country around the world are now stable except the nigerian economy. So you no longer need to wonder why Buhari is compared to GEJ. More than 40 flights have stopped flighing in Nigeria including international flights. Ethiopian airlines wants to buy Arik Air. More than 37 Companies and foreign investors have stopped operation in Nigeria, including the famous tomato factory. In Buhari’s first yr in office, the banking sector and other institutions fired so many employees increasing the percentage of unemployment. CBN rolled out very bad policies that drove investors out of the country which today they (CBN) have reversed, and the list goes on. All these events are not caused by low oil prices. Buhari and his APC government are just a mess. They messed up this country. They destroyed this country with very bad policies.
LIE NUMBER 3
Lack of diversification of the economy is responsible for economic woes.
Yet instead of spending time and resources on diversifying the economy. They go back to look for more oil in Sokoto, Borno, benue states, etc ….that same oil they are blaming as the cause of Nigeria’s economic woes.
Buhari, APC and FG are liars. They have no viable economic policies to the drive the Nigerian economy.
Yes of couse’ to collect ur 2017 NECO result
PMB and INEC conducted Bayelsa elections, PDP won.
They conducted Anambra elections, APGA won.
They conducted Oyo House of Assembly Ibarapa State Constituency, PDP won.
Some elections were conducted in Taraba, PDP won.
They even conducted a senatorial bye election where Dancing Senator Ademola Adeleke of PDP won.
In all of these, Buhari and INEC didn’t rig and APC was a progressive party.
Now, they conducted Osun Elections, APC won you started calling names. Democracy is at risk and all the blablabla ranting and tantrums.
I know the children of doom, will like to show their self
Oga 4get those people, they are wasting of time.
The election nothing concern you with judiciary because inec have really evidence you participate in the supilimentry election your next opposition sdp support APC after Winn, talk of Tribunal.
You’re still dreaming with your whirlwind ambition, you better face your dancing business Mr. Adeleke

*STATEMENT BY THE NIGERIA CIVIL SOCIETY SITUATION ROOM REGARDING INEC’S RERUN ELECTION IN OSUN STATE*
Issued: 7:00 pm, Thursday, 27th September 2018
The Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room observed the rerun election conducted by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in seven polling units of Osun State on Thursday, 27th September 2018.
Situation Room received reports of early arrival of materials and INEC officials in most of the PUs where the rerun elections were conducted. It was difficult to confirm in Orolu LGA how the voting process started, as media and election observers were denied access during the early part of the day. Reports from Orolu LGA indicated incidents of intimidation, harassment and arrest of election observers. Observers and media persons who attempted to enter the LGA were stopped during most of the morning hours, and until intervention by INEC.
*General Observations* :
1. The election was heavily policed with police and other security personnel, including the Army, overwhelmingly deployed across the seven polling units of the election, in a manner that created heavy tension and apprehension among voters. There were also reports of political thugs and hoodlums being used to intimidate voters, with the security forces standing by and failing to act.
2. Observers also reported incidences of violence and gunshots around some of the polling units and attacks against opposing political sides, with supporters of a particular party being prevented from voting.
3. In a polling unit, the Smart Card Reader did not verify some PVCs and yet ballot papers were issued and votes allowed to be cast.
4. There were reports of agents with large sums of money apprehended around the polling units and alleged fake observers.
*Conclusion* :
From Situation Room’s observations, it is clear that the circumstances that led to the cancellation of the elections in the seven polling units where the elections were re-run, including violence, also repeated themselves in most of this election, raising questions on why results obtained under these conditions should now stand.
Situation Room is further concerned that the entirety of the Osun State re-run election derogates from the recent gains made in our elections process and the confidence that was
beginning to be built. The lapses in the Osun re-run elections has put a serious question mark on the electoral process and raises concerns about the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
Hmmmmm beware ooo sen. APC is judiciary ooo
I’ve no doubt in my mind that the judiciary will do the needful

That’s an abused, over manipulated judicial system, it’s not the last hope of the common, it makes decisions on the authorities of powers that be, that’s why the APC National quickly referred you to the courts cos they have the power control the affairs of every sphere of the nations government. We need strong unity to dislodge this dictatorship of the 21st century. Military government headed by an illiterate whose track is very far from democracy, who overthrew a democratically elected president in the 80s! Who made his cousin the head of INEC, the courts can do nothing in Nigeria ??.
