The Caretaker Chairman of Iwo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Moshood Adekunle popularly known as Irorun has resigned from his position following the judgement of the Supreme Court.

In a statement on Wednesday, Adekunle expressed his gratitude to the state governor and the people of Iwo Local Government for their support during his tenure.

He assured that he will continue to serve the community in other capacities when called upon in the future.

Adekunle’s resignation is aimed at upholding the rule of law and respecting the Supreme Court’s judgment.

He has pledged to support the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, and the development of Iwo Local Government in any way possible.
