Speaking Sunday, at the Palace of Emir Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu when he paid a condolence visit to the Emir saying that he was in Bauchi to condole the good people of the state on the very sad death of one of their sons.
The Vice President said that the late Senator had served his people well even before going to the Senate saying that he is a trust wordy one,
The Vice President further said that on the issue of poverty alleviation programme the late Senator had done a lot for his people by eradicating poverty in the state, adding that the late Ali Wakili was a good Nigerian who wanted the development of his people.
Yemi Osinbajo also said that Bauchi state is one of the states among many that has the highest number of N-Power beneficiaries through the efforts that were made by the late Ali Wakili.
While he described the late Senator as a great man the Vice President pointed out that he did a quality work nationally and internationally, saying that the late Senator lived a positive life that impacted positively not only in the state but nationally.
He then prayed Almighty God to comfort this state and his family as well as grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
While responding to the Vice President, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu described the late senator as the best politician among all.
The Emir prayed that may Allah forgive all his shortcomings just he also prayed for the President, Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to overcome all the challenges facing Nigeria at present.
