The Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture Colleges & Institutions and the lawmaker representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, has felicitated with Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, Jilo III, on the occasion of his 70th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary.
The Senator, in a congratulatory message described the monarch as a selfless traditional ruler, committed statesman and a blessing to Ondo State.
“I join the good people of Ondo State and in particular my Senatorial District in celebrating a first-class traditional ruler of repute, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, Jilo III, as he clocks 70 years and 17 years on the throne of his forebears.
“Osemawe’s reign had been epoch-making in the last 17 years, describing him as uncommon among his kind.”
Adegbonmire extolled the outstanding leadership qualities of the monarch and his roles in the promotion of peace and harmony in the state and country.
“As he marks this historical moment, it is my prayer that the Almighty God bless and grant Kabiyesi more years of fruitful and peaceful reign on the throne of his forefathers,” the statement read.
